As the Union State of Dorig is a semi-presidential system, the Council President of the Union Council, Marshal of the Sejm (Speaker of the Sejm/Parliament) and the Prime Minister of the Union are elected separately. The president is chosen by direct election, with each party nominating a candidate for president. In the case of a death of the president in the middle of the term, the chair of the president's "Security Council" is appointed to complete the term. The Prime Minister is chosen by the party or coalition with a majority of seats in the Federal Sejm (usually called the Sejm for short). The Marshal of the Sejm is chosen by a majority of the votes in the Sejm. The president, marshal of the Sejm, and the prime minister are not term limited. So far there has been three presidents, five marshals, and five prime ministers. Party acronyms are to the right of the name, followed by their term in office and their ethnicity. dates written in parenthesis indicates being in office during the resistance. Presidents serve four year terms, and the Sejm term is for four years as well. The last election was in 2016.
