Emperors of the French Empire (Non-Canon)

Sigil of House Bonaparte

Francia, before the time of the Bonapartes, was once ruled by the House of de Alvion. Louis XVI's mishandling of the Frankish Revolution was the primary reason for the royal family's downfall. After the execution of the King, the Republic went through many failed governments until General Napoleon Bonaparte seized power in 1799 as First Consul. Later, after defeating the powers of the third coalition, Napoleon declared himself Emperor of Franica, and the Frankish Empire was established.
