The United States of Greater Somalia is a gargantuan, socially progressive nation, ruled by Mareexaan with a fair hand, and renowned for its soft-spoken computers, free-roaming dinosaurs, and stringent health and safety legislation. The hard-nosed, democratic, humorless population of 34.72 billion Somalis are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

The relatively small, socially-minded, outspoken government prioritizes Education, with Environment, Industry, and Healthcare also on the agenda, while Defense and Spirituality are ignored. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Mogadishu. The average income tax rate is 96.3%.

The frighteningly efficient Somali economy, worth an astonishing 17,954 trillion Shillings a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Tourism, Book Publishing, and Cheese Exports. Average income is a breathtaking 517,123 Shillings, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

School plays were recently banned due to concerns of child endangerment, panicking criminals no longer flush contraband down the toilet, park rangers perform full-body searches on suspected fungus smugglers, and there's a shortage of swinging hot spots as land development grinds to a halt. Crime is totally unknown. Greater Somalia's national animal is the lion, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is none.

Greater Somalia is ranked 201,943rd in the world and 8,253rd in The East Pacific for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -19.04 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
