The Rogue Nation of Nuclearcity is a small, safe nation, notable for its state-planned economy, ubiquitous missile silos, and irreverence towards religion. The hard-nosed, hard-working, democratic population of 26 million Nuclearcityians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The relatively small government prioritizes Defense, although Education, Law & Order, and Administration are also considered important, while Spirituality and International Aid are ignored. The average income tax rate is 10.5%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The strong Nuclearcityian economy, worth 1.66 trillion Nuke dollars a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector, which is broadly diversified, is led by the Automobile Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Woodchip Exports, Uranium Mining, and Arms Manufacturing. Average income is 63,854 Nuke dollars, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.1 times as much as the poorest.

The government is forced to pander to the will of every fruitcake politician, senior executives have become freelance basket-weavers in search of less stress and better work-life balance, bicyclists are banned from major roads, and badminton was recently banned due to 'unacceptable violence' inherent to the game. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Nuclearcity's national animal is the Rats, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Nuclearcity is ranked 124,175th in the world and 23rd in Nuclear Alliance for Highest Drug Use, scoring 41.6 on the Pineapple Fondness Rating.
