The Kingdom of Ruhmheim is a gargantuan, efficient nation, ruled by X-33 with an even hand, and renowned for its museums and concert halls, sprawling nuclear power plants, and pith helmet sales. The hard-nosed, hard-working, democratic population of 12.769 billion Ruhmheimen enjoy extensive civil freedoms, particularly in social issues, while business tends to be more regulated.

The medium-sized, liberal government prioritizes Education, although Defense, Environment, and Healthcare are also considered important, while Welfare and Spirituality are ignored. The average income tax rate is 14.1%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The thriving Ruhmheimen economy, worth 977 trillion Mahrks a year, is quite specialized and dominated by the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Book Publishing, Tourism, and Pizza Delivery. Black market activity is notable. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is 76,537 Mahrks, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 3.0 times as much as the poorest.

A firework a day does not in fact keep the doctor away, X-33 tells rebellious ministers to "drop and give me twenty", a third of Ruhmheimen are e-certified CEOs, and the wheel has been patented by at least a hundred people. Crime, especially youth-related, is a problem, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Ruhmheim's national animal is the Shoggoth, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Ruhmheim is ranked 177,630th in the world and 441st in The Glorious Nations of Iwaku for Largest Basket Weaving Sector, scoring -5.92 on the Hickory Productivity Index.
