The Scandinavian Armed Forces is the military of the Scandinavian Realm with origins in the armed forces of the nations of Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Iceland which is the regions that make up the unified realm. The organisation consists of a mix of volunteers and conscripts where the volunteers make up the professional spearhead of the organisation while the conscripts form the defensive backbone of the military.
