The Kingdom of Tycorn is a colossal, cultured nation, ruled by Corvo with an iron fist, and remarkable for its public floggings, free-roaming dinosaurs, and parental licensing program. The cynical population of 8.24 billion Tycornians are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The enormous, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Education, Law & Order, and Environment. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Arkham. The average income tax rate is 86.8%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Tycornian economy, worth 827 trillion Zycorns a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector, which is highly specialized, is mostly made up of the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Tourism and Book Publishing. Average income is an impressive 100,369 Zycorns, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

High school bands practice by moonlight, state officials tend to disappear after they forget to salute Corvo's portrait, citizens cannot change their light bulbs without approval from an international committee, and motivational posters send motorists positive vibes in high-risk areas. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Tycorn's national animal is the Leviathan, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Tycorn is ranked 200,697th in the world and 1,998th in 10000 Islands for Largest Automobile Manufacturing Sector, scoring -13.34 on the Henry Ford Productivity Index.
