The United Socialist Planets of Unknow is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Proletariat with an even hand, and renowned for its public floggings, digital currency, and avant-garde cinema. The hard-nosed population of 1.061 billion Comrades have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The large, corrupt government is primarily concerned with Defense, although Administration, Education, and Law & Order are also considered important, while Spirituality and International Aid receive no funds. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Indonesia. The average income tax rate is 61.3%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The all-consuming Comrade economy, worth 93.1 trillion CREDITS a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, fairly diversified black market in Arms Manufacturing, Information Technology, Book Publishing, and Beef-Based Agriculture. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 87,754 CREDITS, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.8 times as much as the poorest.

Society and government have been organized according to a feudal hierarchy, the new 'Things We Stole From Other Countries' exhibition at the National Museum of Antiquities is a hit, black tea is only available on the black market, and child labor has been outlawed. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Unknow's national animal is the T-REX, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

Unknow is ranked 51,365th in the world and 13th in Perhimpunan Indonesia for Largest Furniture Restoration Industry, scoring 2,719.33 on the Spitz-Pollish Productivity Index.
