On the 14th of May 2020, the Arctic circle was hit by unforseen, extreme weather conditions. The condition caused great damage and multiple system failures in the territories of The Municipalities of Antarctica and the Occupied Arctic region of the United Ottarenzian Capitalist Republics. Upon being struck by the storm unprepared, both territories were in urgent need of assisstance.

18:36 - Storm hits the arctic continent without warning. The Municipalities of Antarctica declare a national emergency. National 'Spire Furnaces' across the country are being overworked to guarantee the safety of the citizens.

18:49 - TMoA's gouvernment reports severe damage across the country within the first 10 minutes of exposure to the weather conditions and prematurely request international aid. The People's Republic of Wubdich and the Kingdom of Nacoa dia guarantee to help and send material aid as well as personell of the nations' military to help wherever they are needed.

19:09 - The Arctic Occupied Zone of the United Ottarenzian Capitalist Republics request immediate help from nearby nations. TMoA grants to help. PRW and KoND join to aid the AOZ.

19:21 - The AOZ declares to be unable to fight the storm and requests help to evacuate local population, after Ottarenzian naval vessels have been severely damage by the storm, part of which sunk to their damage. Joint fleet of TMoA and PRW was sent to coastal regions of the AOZ to assist evacuation.

19:29 - Eye of the storm has passed the ports of the AOZ and retreats inland.

19:35 - Joint fleet arrives in the main port of the AOZ and assists 15 ottarenzian naval and merchant vessels to leave the harbor. High seas were deemed too dangerous to cross at this stage. Thus, joint fleet guided ottarenzian ships to saver waters near the TMoA's ports. Territory of the ottarenzian AOZ is declared abandoned by rescued authorities of the zone.

19:57 - Storm has left both affected territories. AOZ's authorities deem damage as unsalvageable. TMoA announce moderate damage across the country. Helpers from KoND and PRW join local authorities in damage-control operation, as well as care for the refugees of the AOZ aboard their ships.

20:23 - Main fleet of the PRW leaves the arctic circle due to escalations overseas. Ottarenzian ships are given into TMoA's navy's care. Wubdichian helpers stay aboard these ships.

20:44 - Damage-control initiative overall effective. Death toll is estimated to 8'000 military personell of the TMoA, who have tried to prevent major fatalities shortly before the storm closed in, while the number of the AOZ's casualties couldn't be estimated at this point in time.

20:46 - A part of the PRW's main fleet returns to local ports after overseas conflicts were avoided.

20:56 - PRW's navy leaves arctic ports to guide saved vessels of the AOZ to the UOCR's mainland.

21:01 - TMoA declares to take control of the abandoned AOZ to salvage and reutilize what survived the storm. PRW and KoND are formally declared allies by the TMoA following their help in damage-control.

23:55 - UOCR declares that the former AOZ should be returned to them immediately to avoid conflict.

15th of May

00:03 - TMoA responds with partial consent. Arctic forces remain in the former AOZ, while Ottarenzian troops return. Negotiations begin.

00:37 - Investigations concluded that parts of the former AOZ are still functional. TMoA clarifies their claim on that zone, while UOCR demands previously owned territory back. Negotiations ongoing.

01:57 - Negotiations conclude that half of the former AOZ will be split between both nations, as the TMoA has already begun the reconstruction and repairs of several places within the zone, stands nonetheless true to their rightful claims, and wants to prevent further escalations between both nations. UOCR complies with the agreement. A new Antartic Occupation Zone has been established. Both nations promiss to stay neutral for the near future.
