I Joined, Now What? (Guide for New Nations)

So I joined the Revolutionary Communist Alliance!
What should I do now?

Beginning your journey in our region

WA Membership Residency
By joining the region you may gain Residency, which allows you to debate in the Revolutionary Assembly, run a newspaper and run in elections.
To vote in elections, you must be a member of the World Assembly (which you can join by clicking here).
If you decide to stay for three months (other quicker paths may be available) you may run for World Assembly Delegate, by gaining the most endorsements.

LinkDiscord
Our main platform is Discord: a place to chat, post memes, campaign and vote in elections or simply read latest events and opinion pieces.

Laws
Nations of the Revolutionary Communist Alliance must abide by the Governing Inscriptions and Parliament or Popular Laws.
Revolutionary Parliament Laws are under the Inscriptions and enacted by the Revolutionary Parliament.

Power in the Alliance

Revolutionary Assembly
The Revolutionary Assembly, which meets weekly to debate a topic, is the main platform for debates in the region.
It is composed by all residents, who elect the Revolutionary Assembly Speaker, which is responsible for representing the Assembly, keeping civil order and deciding the debate topic.
The Speaker is elected once every two months by all Residents members of the World Assembly. The Assembly also votes on Role-Play Laws, Amendments and Repeals.

Revolutionary Protector
The Revolutionary Protector (Founder) is responsible for keeping the peace. They have responsibility over granting authority to officers.
In case of an unlawful Delegate, the Founder may remove their executive authority.

Revolutionary Parliament
The Revolutionary Parliament, composed by five elected Residents (once every two months) and headed by the Speaker,
is the legislative and judicial body of the Revolutionary Communist Alliance. The Parliament votes on Laws, Amendments or Repeals.

World Assembly Delegate
The World Assembly Delegate is the representative of the Revolutionary Communist Alliance.
The World Assembly Delegate is elected to office through gaining endorsements. Citizenship is required for the World Assembly Delegate, any Delegate lacking citizenship must campaign for his un-endorsement and, if he does not lose his position within four days, be ejected from the region.

Departments

 -  - 
Security - Diplomacy - Communications

The Prime Commissar is the representative of Government. He may appoint commissars, which then must be confirmed by the World Assembly Delegate.
Departments are the main three wings of the executive government.

The Security Department is responsible for International and Internal Security. All members have authority over Border Control and Communications.
It is headed by the Security Commissar, which may appoint a Deputy Security Commissar and Assistant Security Commissars.

The Diplomacy Department is responsible for International Relations. All members have authority Embassies. Any official diplomatic actions (embassies, alliances, inter-regional pacts) must be confirmed by the Revolutionary Parliament.
It is headed by the Diplomacy Commissar, which may appoint a Deputy Diplomacy Commissar, Assistant Diplomacy Commissars and Ambassadors.

The Communications Department is responsible for Internal Communications. All members have authority Appearance, Communications and Polls.
It is headed by the Communications Commissar, which may appoint a Deputy Diplomacy Commissar, Assistant Communications Commissars, News Broadcasters and Apathy Officers.

What can I do to start?
You can open a news outlet, contribute through our Apathy Officers (who make polls or discussion topics), become an ambassador, become an Enforcer (although we suffer from non-existent offences, it never hurts to have more people assisting the law). WAs Nation may assist by becoming a military trooper or intelligence operator. Other departments are available, which you can find out by contacting their respective Commissar. You may also find out by Members of Parliament about appointed positions!
