A Nation Divided

Since its independence, Azbeksia has been divided; the Democrats, and the Republicans. The Republicans favored the strong government Azbeksia has today, with high military spending, rampant capitalism, and a black market that no-one really questions. However, the Democrats preferred the idea of personal freedoms, proportional democracy, and free speech. Clearly, something had to change.

After decades of negotiations, Azbeksia accepted the Democrats deceleration of independence, and West azbeksia was formed in 2018.
