Recent History: Formerly the biggest left wing part within Talvezout. Formed as a result of socialist movements in the late 1880s, the party slowly grew into becoming a national superpower by the end of the Years of Red, with the 2nd ever Soc-Dem president, Alma Luisa Torres, enacting multiple pieces of legislation that fundamentally changed the political landscape of Talvezout. However, by the 2010s, the party had suffered multiple electoral losses, culminating in the expulsion of leader Rees Blog for making multiple discriminatory comments as well as total failure as a party leader. The party ran a fusion ticket with the NFNA in the 2019-2020 elections, with the Soc-Dems losing nearly half of their seats to the NFNA.

The party grew out of a coalition of remote indigenous Talvezians and farmers across the midlands of interior Talvezout, slowly growing into an labor-oriented left wing party. While FSL has stayed as a regional party (in contrast to the NFNA), they still wield a sizable amount of clout within the halls of the Legislature. The first of the major centrist/center party of Talvezout. Have constantly been backbenchers in the Legislature; they've been saddled with the nickname of the "Filler Party", as they lack the amount of seats needed to reliably influence any legislation. Recent History:
The second of the major centrist/center parties, United Party has had more luck in recent years compared to the SUL. In contrast to SUL, the United Party has focused exclusively on downballot races, rather then the presidency; this makes them the only major party not to run a candidate/fusion ticket in presidential races. This method has brought some success for them; while they hold a small amount of seats in the Assembly, they are currently the 4th largest party in the Senate, and they have been able to influence legislation in the past. They currently hold 1/5 of the governorships around Talvezout.

Group 1993 was a environmental climate group that focused on climate issues affecting Talvezout. The two merged in 1997, with the resulting party now being known as Green/Group 93. While they have a small amount of seats in the Legislature, they have had success in recent years focusing on protests and movements. They have cut a unique deal in the legislature where they pledge their popular support to whichever parties actively work on solving climate issues. In addition, G/93 has served as an environmental issue advocacy group for Talvezout; they frequently advocate on behalf of Talvezout during international meetings.
