Your typical GF personnel will be armed with the NR-3 which is in bullpup style. Similarly the NS-1 is in bullpup rifle - but a shotgun rather than a rifle. What's so special here is that weaponry is electromagnetic which means alot of power in a single shot, it's a tiny electromagnetic railgun (or cannon if you will), being self loading the smaller models are more capable of a higher rate of fire compared to the cannons used by Artillerists or the Navy.

Personnel really fit a certain aesthetic that finds popularity with the Zoomers (or at least what's left of them). With pitch black taking what would be area that is not covered with camo that fits the environment. Troops also vary on their load with alot of troops going light because of emphasis of mobility - but there's always room for heavy troops with plating.
