[b]Abuja- Both teams were strong on the pitcher's mound Sunday, but Afro Caribbean Republic defeated Saterun 2-1. Afro Caribbean Republic pitchers allowed just six hits to Saterun.

Asón Agyare was the winning pitcher for Afro Caribbean Republic. He lasted seven innings, allowing five hits and one run while striking out nine and walking one. Denis Cadet threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Erik Orzak took the loss for Saterun. He went one and two-thirds innings, allowing one run on one hit and walking zero.

Reid Fusar started the game for Saterun. He surrendered one run on five hits over seven innings, striking out six and walking zero

Afro Caribbean Republic socked one home run on the day. Ackon Kusi had a four bagger in the third inning. Afro Caribbean Republic collected six hits. Kusi and Obi Nsia all had multiple hits for Afro Caribbean Republic. Nsia and Kusi each managed two hits to lead Afro Caribbean Republic. Afro Caribbean Republic was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Jean Paul Tapha had the most chances in the field with 14.

Taylor Rice led Saterun with three hits in three at bats. Saterun didn't commit a single error in the field. Axel Liano had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.
