Declaration of Independence (1776)

In Congress We Trust

We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal in Deerfenland. And everyone holds the rights of life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, and the right to have a say in the government. All men of Deerfenland are rightfully protected by the lord and savior himself. Everyone is equal to everybody and nobody is better than anyone. This is to obtain and keep the rights of the people, and for the people and the right to take any oppressive government in place and to abolish and replace thee, and insert a better and more sufficient government to suit the people when rights are being violated.

He (King Henry X) has refused to give us a fair shake in the British government, he has only met our cities, our countrymen, and our people with force and pain. This has become a one-sided relationship for trade and everything, and now it seems like he has been killing off our countrymen. Some more charges against King Henry X include:

    a. He has been taxing us relentlessly
    b. He has been sending soldiers to live in our homes to keep watch in Osea
    c. He has been arresting innocent people
    d. He has not giving us a say in government
    e. He has only met us with force when we bring it up
    f. He has sent soldiers to spy on our citizens

Justice for our colony, for our lives, and for everything we hold dearly, especially our freedom, is overdue and should not be opposed in any shape or form.

We, at the Afro Caribbean States of Deerfenland's supreme court, our congress, and our Armed Forces all agree it is done and over with. We will be separated from your Republic. We hereby and solemnly declare that these Unified Colonies are now independent and will be treated as such. As such, we bless each other our lives, our dignity, our days, and our sacred and holy honor.
