The Aethir's Ether Substance

Discovered in the region of the upper The Holy Land of the Bringard, Ether is a pseudo-magical substance that allows for the manipulation of atoms. At birth, Ascended are given a shot of a specialized chemical form of this substance. This shot, locally known as an "Athura," allows for manipulation of the Ether substance.

This Chemical formula is a unique secret of the government of the Aethir, and this formula is safe-guarded along with how the substance is created. The Ascended are very loyal to this secret, claiming that it's what makes Ascended as such.
