Sao Vicent is a nation proud of its Portuguese and Spanish background - but it has kept on developing its identity during the time of independence.

Everyone in the world knows about the Sao Vicent's two big sports clubs: CS Porto and Pontebarca FC. Most have also heard of the Sao Vicentian "Scoundrel-dance" and are familiar with the strong dark rums of Sao Vicent. But the country offers much more! The Governmental Palace of Llosa's regime (finished just before the fall of the regime) in Porto da Santo will now live only in our distant memories. There is no returning for the historical city district that was destroyed in order to make room for this monstrosity - but the new Sao Vicent - looking confidently to its future will surely make the best with the space vacated.
