Ravyn Wyrmbound, formally known as Edreele Alouaud of Wayrest, is the High-Queen of Ísrike and the North. A powerful and terrifying individual, Ravyn conquered and united the squabbling realms of the North following her arrival on Midgard. Ravyn is a vampire, particularly an Ísvampíru as known by the locals. She rules with an iron fist, dominating the lands she lords over. Utilising her powerful magicks and use of enchantments, Ravyn has little to fear from any attempted revolts. However, to ensure stability, she is usually focused on improving the standard of living and winning over the powerful and useful when possible.
Born in Wayrest at the turn of the 4th Era and the end of the Oblivion Crisis, Ravyn (then named Edreele) was raised as the daughter of a wealthy merchant family and noblewoman. She enjoyed a luxurious life, filled with many treats and delights few could afford. She was the youngest of three children, with an older brother and sister. Her brother, Nepoinere, dotted on her whilst her sister Isaanelle tended to ignore Edreele. Her parents were Tristane and Carela Alouaud, the former a merchant of luxury goods and the latter a former tavern bard.
Unfortunately, however, her life took a dreadful turn upon her 18th year. She was already struggling with the recent death of her brother during his adventures in the province of Skyrim, and tensions within the family did little to help. One night, her father had arranged for the family to meet in an old crypt outside the city walls. Edreele thought nothing of it, trapped in her own sorrow as the family journeyed into the crypt. It was here that Edreele, her sister and her mother were later sacrificed to the Daedric prince of domination, Molag Bal. Her father was a daedra worshipper, whom had offered his daughters and loving wife as sacrifices to his lord in exchange for the gift of vampirism and immortality. Edreele was the sole survivor of the ritual. Upon exiting the crypt, Edreele awoke and ruthlessly slaughtered her family and entourage.

Ravyn has a unique strain of vampirism. Along with being afflicted with undeath, a hunger for blood among other common vampiric traits, she has an affinity for frost-based magic and can traverse ice sheets, Arctic waters and frozen environments with ease.
Ravyn was fond of lemon cake prior to her becoming a vampire. She cannot enjoy it anymore due to her affliction.
Ravyn has a fondness for hammocks and sleeping in high, hard to reach places. Her chambers have numerous nocks and crannies for her to rest in, and she has access to a network of vent-like tunnels throughout her fortress-home.
