Coup in Vrama

GNA News has exclusively learned of rumours of a coup by Prime Minister Ranja Paht. Leaked internal memos indicate that that the Prime Minister, with the backing of some of the military's highest generals, reveal that Vrama's King Aryan Shakra and the President of the Grand Diet have been placed under house arrest.

These same memos indicate that the King and President of the Grand Diet, the nation's parliament, have been forced at gunpoint to sign various decrees that may or may not have been approved by the Grand Diet. This confusion comes from the fact that meetings of the Grand Diet are secret and closed to the public.

Over the past few weeks, the Grand Diet has supposedly passed very harsh laws, which some have criticised as overly authoritarian. Infamously, the nation closed its borders and ordered the recall of its entire diplomatic staff.

The memos further reveal that certain ministers have likewise been arrested or detained. They are rumoured to include: the Minister of Justice, Minister of Defence, Minister of Finance.

This information comes as PM Paht's government has claimed genocide of Morover and United massachusetts.

This has caused much tension within the international community, including Separatist Peoples, Tinfect, Wallenburg, and others.

EDIT: Minutes ago, the Paht government has issued a statement, saying they had deposed King Aryan Shakra and proclaimed Vrama a Serene Fascist Republic. The Paht government claims that the King signed an instrument of abdication.
