We're happy to announce the Pokemon Showdown League, one of the major contests of the Feriae Anniversaria! While the mods may stop us from having actual gladiator fights, they can't stop us from using virtual animals as our own gladiators. Join us for the bloodshed and maybe some fun too! Rules and Regulations

• The Pokemon Showdown League will count as a Major Contest for the Feriae Anniversariae

• The battle league will be held using Pokemon Showdown

• The tournament will utilize a double elimination best of 1 format until we reach the semi-finals, after which we will utilize a single elimination best of 3 format.

• Teams can be changed between rounds.

• Absolutely no legendary pokemon can be used in the tournament.

• Absolutely no mega evolutions can be used in the tournament

• All Pokemon are to be played at level 50. You are allowed to use whatever stage of evolution you want except no mega evolutions.

• Shiny Pokemon are allowed.

• To sign up for the tournament. Join the Event’s Discord server and state your participation in #pokemon-signups

• The event will begin at 14:00 (2 PM) Eastern Standard Time on Sunday August 11th.
