The Amazon Forest, home to 10% of the world's species, has been on fire for the past three weeks.
What's happening in the Amazon right now is not because of government inaction, but precisely because its very own government deliberately permits, enables, and authorizes the destruction of a massive ecological frontier 😔☹. My heart bleeds.
Notwithstanding such political interests, this, of course, is also a result of the effects exacerbated by human-induced climate change. #PrayForAmazonia 🙏😔
