Oclusia Embassy Exchange

The Oclusi embassy system was built to help preserve and protect the relationship between the foreign world and the Democratic Republic of Oclusia. The embassy can be a point of contact, or base of communication, between two countries. The President of Oclusia hereby opens up any point of diplomatic relations via Embassy.

Please note to diplomats that the smuggling of drugs or alcohol from ANY foreign entente will NOT be tolerated and can land any diplomat up to 1 year in prison and being fined any certain amount of money. Please also make sure that any animals and pets be made known in your application. We thank you for your time, and wish for a prosperous day.

We in the Democratic Republic of Oclusia hereby declare this system of embassy-born relations as the official embassy of Oclusia. We can all assure diplomats no matter of race, religion, and nationality will be treated fairly as they are Oclusi citizens. They will also be protected under the law, but they will also serve the law. As they are on national business, they will require the utmost discretion meaning that citizens and civilians will not be allowed to observe the inside of the embassy on terms of privacy. First happenings will arrive to ambassadors and diplomats first before being passed onto media and press. All questions regarding embassies should and will be passed onto Tatarov Yuliy and Tatarov Yuliy before making their way to President Lyovkin Yermolayevich. National Overview:

The Democratic Republic of Oclusia commonly called Oclusia, is a Capitalist Democracy in northern Meterra. It is bordered on the north by Yalkan, on the south by Saintoge, by the east by Saintoge as well, and on the west by Nuroblav. The Democratic Republic of Oclusia covers and an unknown amount of square kilometers and has an estimated population of 9,508,000. The Democratic Republic of Oclusia comprises of twenty subdivisions and no territories.

Oclusia is a nation that spreads over a part of North Meterra. It has several mountain ranges and plains and even has one desert in the easternmost border. The highest mountain range is the Chebolabuga Mountain Range that spreads from the border with Nuroblav to the southernmost part of Oclusia. The Meterra Sea is surrounded by Oclusia and its neighbors and has a strait through Oclusia to connect with the central ocean. In general, the climate of Oclusia can be described as highly continental influenced climate with warm to hot dry summers and (very) cold winters with temperatures of -30C and lower and sometimes heavy snowfall. In the summer, the heat can get up to 40C and be as low as 10C. In winter, it will drop dramatically. The Environment of the Democratic Republic of Oclusia is filled with grasslands in a lot of the areas. Forests are green in this nation. In fact, some of the greenest forests are in this land. Oclusia's forests have very fertile soil. The soil is used to grow crops such as potatoes, corn, barley, rye, oats, wheat, flax, and sugar beets. The mountainous regions are snowy year-round. The snowy regions within the mountains are good for snowboarding, skiing, and sledding, but they can also be used as precipitation runoffs. These runoffs provide water year-round for Oclusia.

There are 9,508,000 Oclusi people in Oclusia spread out across the land. The people celebrate their ancient culture from before colonization to now. They also celebrate Orthodox Christmas on 7 January, Labour Day on 1 May, and Independence Day on 11 July. In the way of race, the Democratic Republic of Oclusia has three predominant races within its borders; Gotic, Szlavic, and Ceretian. There are some smaller other ones involved in the mix, however, 78% of the people are of these ethnicities with the leading of 45% being Szlavic. The people live together in harmony and they manage to mix up cultures to create one Oclusi culture.
The Osclusi people have two main languages that they speak; Szlavic and Byeloszlavic. The official language of the people is Byeloszlavic. Signs, city names (not on this dispatch), directions, restaurants, and stadiums will speak the Byeloszlavic language that originates from Szlavic languages, but originates in Osclusia through the native ethnic people. The main religion that was set up in the country was Eastern Orthodox Christianity with the Orthodox Church. The Orthodox Church has several major holidays that are celebrated in the nation such as Clean Monday, Orthodox Christmas, Orthodox Easter, Orthodox Pentecost, Saint Mary's Day, and recently just added Festival Day. On each of these holidays, millions of Osclusi crowd into the streets of their cities and towns to celebrate with festivals. Street food is given out, games are played, and fireworks go off at night. Osclusi go to church at least twice a week.

The government system that the Democratic Republic of Oclusia has is an Inoffensive Centrist Democracy. They have three mainstream parties; the Democratic Party, the Centrist Party, and the Conservative Party. The Centrist Party has the most seats and it takes up 57% of the seats in both of the houses. Second place is the Conservative's Party, and 3rd is the Democratic Party. The Democratic Republic of Oclusia is also in the World Assembly, where ambassadors and some others go to. The current ambassador to the World Assembly is Lyvana Yzanskov. The current president, Lyovkin Yermolayevich, is a Centrist Party President. He holds the majority in every aspect of government.

Through diplomacy, nations tend to grow and thrive. Diplomatic nations will usually thrive because of the relationships that they have with other nations. Oclusia is no different. However, they have no significant embassies. Oclusia is extending their diplomatic relations with the rest of the Eras as they are starting to offer embassy applications to other nations. The military of the Democratic Republic of Oclusia is a small and steady force of 62,000 active soldiers who go from guarding the coast to going on suicide and rescue missions and 344,750 reserves. The Democratic Republic of Oclusia has been in no wars as of now. The military is split evenly in every branch along with 2,500 soldiers in the special forces who have not been counted to the general military.
