Negotiations end on March 25th, the Fusean Empire separates into two independent states, the Fusean Socialist Democratic Republic (South Fusea), and the Fusean State (North Fusea)
On January the 2nd, 2020, tensions escalate after the FNDP widen the Fusean Naval and Aerospace Defence Zone—a military patrol and defence perimeter, effectively blockading the gulf of Jenovah
After a week of various civil disobediences, the RJO takes around thirty hostages in a federal building in Easton—Luc Chaisdec demands the abdication of the Emperor and terminus of the blockade in exchange for the hostages, the captors are promptly killed and national security is effectively tightened by Imperial diktat
Two resistance compounds belonging to RJO militants are discovered in rural towns of Cassey and Calvary, the Imperial Army Corps is sent to eliminate these compounds and 13 young lieutenants are killed in action—the Emperor officially enlists a campaign to destroy the Red January Organization and vows to end any and all resistance
The mainly underground organizations of the Loudai in the Lotionsmarch Region and the Bande Démocratique de l'Allaisie in the Allaisia Region unite under the single banner of "FUSEC" or Fusean Resistance Coalition, and occupy the town of Quéllec with nearly no resistance, consolidating power in the area—FUSEC proclaims itself as a "democratic revolution"
Five IAC brigades are deployed each in Cersey and Calvary (10,000 men each) on January 13th to pacify radical support and civil violence in their regions as well as arrest and detain any and all armed leadership in the Fusean Resistance Coalition
The Entraoûmaie—an armed, conservative paramilitary club formed in 1842—pledge to fight for the Fusean Empire's continued existence and the protection of the sovereign
Imperial Army Corps 52nd Brigade takes Brighamton with Entraoûmaie forces, La Ves is violently occupied by coalition forces along with Algébarde
The Fusean-Jenovachi War begins on January 17th, 2020 once the Fusean blockade is attacked by Jenovachi naval forces in the afternoon—two battles ensue in the ZDNA, with favourable outcomes for the Jenovachi—the Fusean Emperor immediately declares war and employs a "feud-custom" of hastily campaigning a land invasion at the Jenovachi frontier along Cersonnel and Allaisia
With Jenovachi aid, the BDA increases Coalition control within Allaisia, winning two battles against IAC and Entraoûmaie forces—however, Coalition control begins to dwindle in Quéllec after the IAC take Fleuve Maron in Cersey
The state of Wardency imposes a trade embargo on Jenovachi goods and services and pledges support towards the Fusean Empire, who accelerates foreign aid measures within Wardency
In addition to lending ships from Montarc, the Fusean National Defence Programme deploys 50,000 more troops into conflict, and deems 400 more aircraft suitable for operation
Coalition forces in the west continue to defend their possessions and rally more support—coalition armies in Allaisia continue to expand after three victorious battles into new territory, threatening Central Army Command in the Allaisian valley
On January 29th, Coalition forces occupy Trenton, the first major city to fall to FUSEC—Luc Chaisdec alongside Coalition forces purge all municipal governance in the city and proclaim the "Fusean Democratic Republic", of which he is elected President
Yugobatania has declared war on the Fusean Empire
The Imperial Federation offers the use of naval dockyards to the Fusean Empire, aligning themselves with the Fusean Empire in the Fusean-Jenovachi War
The Imperium has declared war on Jenovah and Yugobatania
La Ves is recaptured by the Imperial Army Corps 23rd Brigade and administered by Lieutenant Daniel Gallagher on February the 6th of February—meanwhile, the effort from the Entraoûmaie to retake Quèllec from the Fusean Democratic Republic is repelled by Coalition forces
Peace talks occur throughout the final weeks of February—on the 28th, The Fusean Empire, the Imperium, Yugobatania, and Great Jenovah officially terminate the Fusean-Jenovachi war
All allied intervention into the Fusean-Jenovachi war is dismissed and slowly phased out of the Fusean Empire
The Fusean Democratic Republic grows after incorporating the acquisitions of eastern RJO cells—RJO and Loudai win exterior battles encroaching on Hamilton
Peace talks occur throughout the final weeks of February—on the 28th, The Fusean Empire, the Imperium, Yugobatania, and Great Jenovah officially terminate the Fusean-Jenovachi war

The Fusean Democratic Republic grows after incorporating the acquisitions of eastern RJO cells—RJO and Loudai win exterior battles encroaching on Hamilton
The LULL (liv'un let liv) movement organizes its first demonstration in Easton
The 3rd of March, 2020 sees the most brutal day in the January Revolt, La Ves is captured violently by an outstanding encirclement manoeuvre performed by the BDA; the Premiership of Allasia flees from home territory, allowing the BDA to entirely capture the Allasian region, 743 total individuals die in the battle of La Ves; Central Army Command is demolished
The Fusean Democratic Republic invades several hamlet towns on the outskirts of Hamilton, coordinating closely with the Loudai; several key vantage points are stolen from Imperial control, and coalition ascendancy begins to threaten north-to-south access roads; the battle of the Palace Hills continuously rages outside Hamilton
The Battle of Palace Hills (Collines-du-Palais) is lost on the Imperial side. The triumph over five brigades of the Imperial Army Corps and resistance against continuous air strikes has led to the Fusean Democratic Republic establishing a hold over the city of Hamilton, which is now in the process of being captured
Members of the LULL movement smash the windows at the Palais de la Montagne in La Mets in an effort to demand Emperor Alphonsus VI to end the January Revolt peacefully
The Easton Boundary is organized as a combined tactical wall between Hamilton, Easton, and La Mets, a temporary armistice is declared
The ceasefire ends—bolstered Imperial Forces begin to surround Hamilton on two sides
Two IAC brigades reclaim several mostly-Loudai camps in eastern Fusea, taking back several alpine hamlets-towns, five contingents of coalition forces are positioned between Hamilton and nearby population centres, bringing the conflict to a standstill
A second armistice is called, negotiations ensue
