Thegye Map

This page contains the Thegye Map and instructions on how to apply. Please direct all questions and corrections to Peraro Krotoik.

MAP

Thegye is a vast and dynamic world, filled with as many cultures and polities as there are stars in the sky. While borders are fluid and difficult to enforce, this does not stop scholars and scribes from attempting to document the location of these nations. Each of the known world's most significant nations can be found below, marked in its own color and labeled. However, their work is never done. You can assist their documentation by providing the location of your own nation via telegram to Bassiliya or sending a Discord DM to Lies Kryos#1734 after making sure that you have filled out an RSC at

This dispatch contains information about the Roleplay Statistics Chart. Please direct all questions to Bassiliya.

ROLEPLAY STATISTICS CHART

The Roleplay Statistics Chart is a tool roleplayers use to have an accurate, balanced picture for each nation. The limit on this chart will be 1300 points; no one is permitted to breach that 1300 point limit. Keep in mind that you don't have to use all your points; if you want to RP as a smaller or weaker nation, you can use less than the limit. Once you have filled out your chart, you'll need to submit it to a Roleplay Moderator before it can become authorized. Please ensure that you use the formatting included in the "Instructions" section below. RSCs must be submitted in dispatch form and must make use of the pre-formatted code below. Example of an Roleplay Statistics Chart: Bassiliya RSC

ROLEPLAY STATISTICS
INSTRUCTIONS

The instructions are pretty simple and pretty easy. Go into a new dispatch, set the category to 'Meta' and the subcategory to 'Reference'. Once you have done that, open the spoiler below and copy-paste the text in your dispatch body and fill in the information. Publish it and send it to a roleplay moderator for approval. Once it is approved, then you can start roleplaying. Good luck, citizen! Below is the code; just hit the button and it will appear.

Notes:
  • Percents should add up to 100%. The standing army plus levies should add together to make 100 and the subcategories of each should both add up to equal 100.

  • Standing and levy percentages do not indicate only numbers as far as size. They are more indicators of where resources are allotted, the quality of training, and other quality factors. Moderators will be permitted to moderate army size if they find a proposed number unrealistic.

and gotten it approved. Make sure that the information provided is reasonable, no Empire spans half the world or will suddenly grow to encompass an entire continent without warning. Additionally, nations that are actively involved in world affairs will have stronger claims and will be able to hold larger territories. The latest version of our map can be found on our discord, this page may not be up to date. EDIT: Going forward, all new map claims require a completed and approved RSC. You must submit the RSC prior to, or alongside, your map claim, or your map claim will be considered invalid.

Each pixel represents 4km^2. There is no maximum claim size, but keep all claims and expansions within reason. Any claim found to be excessive or otherwise unrealistic can be denied.

Legend:
Lime - Tropical

Brown - Mediterranean
Dark Green - Temperate
Pale Green - Continental
Pale Blue - Subarctic/Arctic
Dark Grey - Mountains
The continents are as follows:
West - Shanqiang
South - Deteros
East - Kalavik
Central - Oskiya

It is also worth considering the cultural legacy left behind by the Peraro Krotoik when it was at its height. While it may only be a shadow of its former self, the world has not forgotten what it once was. In areas it once owned, many people still speak its language, hold its customs, and walk its roads. This is not to say that the customs of other peoples have not come into these places, but they have rarely supplanted them entirely. The Empire once owned all these lands shown below, and some say it seeks to reclaim them, while others hope to take its legacy - and lands - for themselves.
