Notes

Primary?

Land Distribution

Agency

Protected

This is why most extraction companies are 'protected'; it's simply that no other entities may extract things from Magekite soil and waters

Tertiary

National Defense (Professional)

Agency

Protected

Does not include arms manufacturing, which often imports

Tertiary

Healthcare

Agency

Regulated

Private enterprise generally covers more complex treatments faster

Secondary

Housing

Agency

Protected

Central urban planning is considered critical to use Mageek's limited land effectively

Tertiary

Transportation (Internal)

Agency

Regulated

Centrally-planned public transportation covers most needs; strict private vehicle regulations exist to limit pollution

Secondary

Arms Manufacturing

Nationalized (TBD)

Regulated

Often imports

Tertiary

Retail/Distribution

Nationalized

Regulated

Somewhere between a nationalized corporation and a government agency; not quite sure which

Primary

News Media

Nationalized (TBD)

Free

Reliable enough; any state propaganda would stick out like a sore thumb from among other available newspapers

Primary

Fossil Fuel Extraction

Nationalized (Magekite Fossil Fuels)

Protected

Still reliant on imports due to limited deposits

Primary

Clay Extraction

Nationalized (Magekite Clays and Ceramics)

Protected

Metals Extraction

Nationalized (TBD)

Primary

Agriculture

Nationalized (Magekite National Agriculture Corporation)

Free

Refers to domestic agriculture; personal growing of foodstuffs is unregulated and encouraged, foreign competition exists only in the final food market (private large-scale agriculture impossible anyway due to centralized land distribution)

Secondary

"Cultural Ceramics" (e.g. pottery)

Central Union

Free

"Ceramics" in "Magekite Clays and Ceramics" refers to more industrial applications of clay such as in bricks and armour

Primary

Fishing

Central Union

Regulated

More centralized and intensive fishing was given up due to environmentalist pressures; regulations exist on who can fish and how much fishing can be done

Secondary

Carpet Weaving

Central Union

Free

Important cultural industry

Tertiary

Arts

Limited Enterprise

Free

"Limited enterprise" mostly due to the nature of the Magekite arts industries; the state does patronize some artists

Tertiary

Free Enterprise

Regulated

One upside to less competition is less advertisement :)

Tertiary

Airlines

Free Enterprise

Regulated

Mostly international given Mageek's small size. Airports are nationalized and a national airline exists, but it does not dominate the market
