Emblem

Roundel

Introduction
The eight-pointed star is a symbol of the Groraŋh peoples. It represents the stars as a whole.

Origins
The symbol originated around the dawn of Groraŋh civilization, to represent the cosmos where dreams and visions were said to come from.
In Spongenism, Dream Water is the substance where visions come from. These two views are reconciled by having the water originate as dew runoff from the Spongisphere, or Sponge Dimension.

In both Spongenism and in all the pagan religions, dreaming, visions, and psychedelics are important elements of ritual and belief. Even before the Capitalist Period, the symbol had gradually become secularized and turn into a symbol of Suburbistanistan.

Other Representations
It doesn't always appear alone. The Цжюџең, a symbol that appears on our current flag, representing cosmic harmony, is shown with the star side up. The star, is also commonly shown inside a ring, as previous flags had it. That ring represents the cosmic light.
