1. The House shall select a Speaker from amongst its members by a simple majority vote who shall be responsible for convening and supervising sessions once a week.

2. The Speaker shall be responsible for holding votes on bills and counting the votes.

3. The Speaker shall be responsible for correcting any grammatical errors in a bill as well as format errors before holding a vote. If it is unclear what any section of the bill is attempting to say, the Speaker must act for clarification from the author of the bill.

4. The Speaker may appoint a deputy to carry out their duties if they are not available.

1. A bill shall have the following format:

Heart Bill [number of bill]: [title of bill]

Purpose: [the purpose the bill is trying to achieve]

Article [article number]: [article name]

[clause number].
