Region Embassy Request Policy

The Government considers embassies and consulates located on off-site forums to be the basis of official relations between regions. Any foreign region which wishes to open relations with Scotia should dispatch an envoy/ambassador to register on our off-site forums and apply for diplomatic status. They will then be able to submit an application for an embassy or consulate as deemed necessary on our off-site forums.

A request for an in-game embassy is only granted if it meets at least one of the following criteria:

1. They enjoy an existing bilateral treaty with our region which contains mutually beneficial clauses; or
2. They have demonstrated a commitment to closer cooperation with our region, potentially leading to a future alliance.
3. The region requesting the Embassy is not engaged in:

A. Extremist ideologies such as Nazism
B. Condemned by the WA Security Council.
C. In a state of war with an ally of Scotia
D. Viewed as a enemy region by the Government.

A region which has "a legal treaty" with Scotia may submit an in-game embassy request and it will be granted. A region without a legal treaty which believes it meets the second or third criteria should contact the Government before tendering a request.

Current in game embassies will be grandfathered in.
