People of Roborian-Demographics and Attributes

The Roborinian public is, as a whole, largely homogeneous in faith and ethnicity, though diversity exists in both. Originally founded by European settlers, Roborian escaped the curse of human slavery in its developmental years, a cooler, wetter climate and largely open geography of fields, deserts, and highlands not conducive to the plantation economy of more equatorial regions, and the lack of an overseas sovereign keeping any mercantilist attempt at implementing the same from being made. Never a target for particularly intense flows of immigration, those migrants who did make their way to Roborinian shores were largely European in origin as well, a demographic trend that has only recently begun to shift in recent decades, eliciting a negative response from certain members of society. Roborianos immigration policy is not neutral towards religion, and openly favors Christian migrants, particularly those of the Roborianos denomination, and those under religious persecution. With the shifting trends of global faith away from developed caucasian nations towards the 'third world', Roborian has begun to see an influx of diversity along similar lines, a slow but steady growth only interrupted by bitter conflict between Co-Executives Delvis and Bellinger.

In terms of religion, bolstered modestly by the noted immigration policy, but primarily stemming from native births, Christianity has remained a dominant culture force and the most widely-held religion in the nation by far-but Roborian has not been immune to the demographic trends seen elsewhere in the gradual fading of influence of traditional faith, and increased irreligiosity. Departures from the Church of Roborian have come in a handful of forms, with some retaining Christian identification but splitting off into more liberal denominations, or maintaining church membership only nominally. Agnosticism, or the 'nones' has seen some rise as has atheism, while New Age spiritual beliefs have begun to come into vogue among some groups. Other organized religions, however, remain uncommon, with Catholicism, long a small minority in the nation, beginning to see some growth, particularly newly-converted traditionalists Catholics departing the Church of Roborian, with Islam the only other organized faith with a somewhat notable number of adherents, seeing slow but rising growth, also concentrated recently. Other religions, including Buddhism, Judaism, and Hinduism, do exist and are legally protected within the nation, but are exceedingly rare, and often self-congregate into small communities. One faith of note, technically considered to be in communion with the Church of Roborian, but rather plainly different in the execution of faith in everyday life, is that of the Amish. Amish communities are quite common in rural areas of Roborian and generally well-respected among the public and, if counted separately from the main church, rank as the one of the most common denominations outside of it.

In terms of appearance and genetics, Roborinians tend towards fair skin, light eyes-blues and greys the most frequent, with green occasionally spotted, and predominately straight dark hair-browns and blacks most common, blonde occasionally seen, and red extremely rare to see. On average, Roborinians tend to be a good deal shorter than most of European ancestry, with a low stature ratio. Average male height sits at approximately 5 ft. 7 in, (1.7 meters), with average female height at 5 ft, 4 in. (1.63 m).
