On this day 12 years ago, the lost fishermen got together at their new island home and founded Garrettnesia, named after Garrett Brick, who helped guide the other fishermen to the island. Now, with all of the crazy pandemic going around, Garrettnesia persevered with their 12th anniversary celebrations, due to there being no reported cases in Garrettnesia, although the government is rapidly increasing testing and travel is heavily restricted. The Garrettnesia Timeline Parade continued and is actually happening as I am writing this article. The Garrettnesia: A Nation, A History play will continue as normal at around noon Garrettnesia Time, followed by a meet and greet of famous Garrettnesians from 1PM-5PM Garrettnesia time and a fireworks show to end it all off at 8PM Garrettnesia time. All of this will be taking place at the Garrettnesia Fairgrounds in the Port of Diamonds.
