Post revolution and modern history.

Following the beginning of The Republican period that still continues till this day, the head of the revolution Sun Wu, his advisers and former confidants now head government officials struggled on what to do next. After a very long cabinet meeting with members of the legislature, a bill proposed, to ratify a draft of the Riscian constitution. It was ratified on Janurary 9, 1957. Along with the ratification came a new question, what was going to be the name of this new nation. It would be called The Federal Republic of The Ricebenders. On May 7, 1961 an elderly man on a routine hunting trip reported to have found a bunker deep in the woods of Jasmine Province. After local authorities found and proved the eldery man's story, the Riscian army checked it out, only to find that the bunker was property of the Imperial Family and that it had a tunnel that stretched all the way passed the Riscian-Wheatian border. When Sun Wu's administration found out about the secret tunnels, they contacted the President of Wheatistan and were told that a few days after Jade City fell to the Republicans the Huangdi and his loyal followers arrived at a rendezvous point in the Wheatian woods where he was granted asylum and escorted to a private island that he owned off Bigtopia's northern coast. No later than 8 hours after, the story was leaked to the news where it became cycled in the news for nearly two months. Till today the old Risican monarchy continues it's asylum in Wheatistan. While in recent history The Ricebenders now unofficially renamed itself Risica as the name Ricebenders got really cringy.
