The Armedikan Army - MT-PMT

The Armedikan Army is the land warfare service branch of the Armedikan Order's Armed Forces. It is one of five uniformed service branches. It is also considered to be the very oldest of all the service branches. The main mission of the Armedikan Army is preserving the peace and security and providing the defense of the Armedikan Order, it's territories, interest, and partners around the world. It also supports national policies. Implementing national objectives and overcoming any nations or aggressors that threaten the security and peace of Armedikan citizens and soil.

The United States Armedikan Army has a standing force of 1,008,000 active duty troops, with another 627,000 in the National Guard and Army Reserves.

History

The Armedikan Army was formed in 1867 during the Armedikan Revolution which lasted from 1867-1869. However back then it was known as the "Armedikan Front", which would fight against the army of the Armedikan monarchy. With only a force of 7,000 the Armedikan Front was able to overcome the enemy through the use of guerilla warfare.

Present Day
The Armedikan Army is one of the toughest and strongest armies in the world. It is also one of the most well equipped and richest armies in the world with a annual budget of over $800 Trillion Armedikan Dollars. Today, the army has quietly been reduced as far as combat operations. However, presence throughout the globe is key, with the army having almost 52 installations throughout the globe.

Assault Rifles
LinkM16A4 Assault Rifle: Is the main service rifle of the Armedikan Army. Fires 5.56×45mm NATO ammunition. Can be armed with M203 Grenade Launchers.

Carbine Rifles
LinkM4A1 Carbine Rifle: is a carbine rifle used by the Armedikan Army. Often times is the more preferred rifle, by the troops due to it's lighter design. It also fires 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition.

Sniper Rifles
LinkMk-13 MOD 5 Sniper Rifle: the Mk-13 is the main sniper rifle of the Armedikan Army, primarily used by marksman teams and sniper units, including army special forces units. The Sniper rifle can be able to be chambered in .300 Norma Magnum and .338 Norma Magnum, the Mk22 can shoot out to 1,500 meters, several hundred meters further than the .300 Winchester Magnum-chambered Mk13 Mod 7.


Main Battle Tanks
LinkM1A2 Abrams MBT: The M1A2 is the main battle tank of the Armedikan Army. Armed with a 120mm Smoothbore gun, it is known to fire high explosive anti-tank(HEAT) rounds, and Anti-tank(AT) rounds. Mainly used for ground assaults and sieges. It is mainly used by cavalry units as a support vehicle providing troops with ground fire against enemy infantry or enemy armored vehicles. It is modified with a personal defense system which was highly engineered to destroy incoming enemy weapons with a high-energy heat system which can cause hostile missiles and ammunition from enemy tanks to self-detonate before even impacting the tank. That is just one of the many countermeasure systems equipped on the tank. There is currently 4,000 M1A2 tanks in active service with the Army.

Armored Personnel Carriers
LinkBTL-48 Armored Personnel Carrier: is a armored 6x6 wheeled vehicle. It is armed with a automated 30mm cannon on top, which can also be fitted with two anti-tank rockets. The BTL-48 is made in Armedika. It is primarily used as a armored personnel carrier with the ability to transport 6 troops in its rear compartment. It is also used as a reconnaissance and cavalry scout vehicle. The BTL-48 features a variety of survivalbilities including a system that can protect the crew members from chemical warfare and nuclear radiation attacks. There is currently a amphibious variant currently being designed. There is a total of 12,000 in active service, with 400 in storage/reserve.
LinkICV Stryker: The ICV Stryker is a eight-wheeled family of armored fighting vehicles. The Armedikan Army uses almost every single type of variant such as the LinkM1128 Mobile Gun System. The Armedikan Army has over 9,674 vehicles in service.

Infantry Fighting Vehicles
LinkAOZ-98 Brytor Infantry Fighting Vehicle: is a 8x8 wheeled IFV, designed for infantry and assault. The vehicle is armed with automated 30mm cannon, that can also be fitted with a 40mm cannon as well, that fires HE 30mm and 40mm ammunition. It's main role on the battlefield is to provide troops with armored support as well as to provide reconnaissance and intelligence. The IFV can transport 6-7 troops in its rear compartment. It's composite armor is strong enough to survive a tank shell. It's armor also provides sealing in case of a chemical or environmental attack. The vehicle is also equipped with numerous countermeasures as well as highly advanced early-warning systems. It comes with night-vision capabilities allowing the IFV to operate at night. It can even connect with nearby UAVs, and satellites to be aware of a targets postion.
LinkM2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle: is a American Infantry Fighting Vehicle contracted and produced in the United States of Armedika. The United States of Armedika's Army uses the entire Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle family, mostly the M2A3. The Bradley is armed with a 25mm M242 Bushmaster Chain gun which fires up to 900 HE(High Explosive) rounds. It is also armed with two TOW missile launchers for heavily armored Anti-Tank targets. The Armedikan Army uses the Bradley mainly as a assault and cavalry scout vehicle. It comes with multiple armored kits which can provide protection for the passengers and crew. The vehicle is also well sealed and protected in case of chemical or biological attacks. The Army uses all 4 variants such as: M2A2, M2A3, and M2A4. It is said these vehicles will be used until the year 2050. Upgrade and Modernization of the vehicles is also beginning with the introduction of laser defense systems as well as more advanced targeting systems. Test are also being conducted in which these vehicles can carry communication jammers and signal jammers within the vehicle. There is currently over 25,000 Bradley Vehicles in active service.

Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles(MRAPs)
LinkInternational MaxxPro 4x4: is a armored fighting vehicle. It is also a mine resistant ambush protected vehicle(MRAP). In the Armedikan Army, these vehicles are used by numerous units including calvary, calvary scouts, armored brigades, and even infantry units. These vehicles are mainly used for convoy and transportation. However, they are also used to protect troops from planted IEDs or mines. They have also seen combat, each MRAP can be armed with a manned .50 Cal turrent or a automated one with a remote control gun. The United States of Armedika also uses variants such as the LinkInternational MaxxPro Plus, LinkInternational MaxxPro Dash, and the LinkInternational MaxxPro XL(LWB Variant). There is currently 18,090 in active service.
LinkOshkosh M-ATV: is a 4x4 MRAP. This MRAP is smaller than the MaxxPro Dash with Joint Light Tactical Vehicle capabilities, it is classified as a MRAP due to its armored plating and designed. Troops often use the vehicle for patrols and reconnaissance. During urban fighting, the vehicle is armored to survive IEDs. It's bulletproof windows are roughly 8 to 10 inches thick providing enough protection for crew and passengers from even sniper fire. It is armed with manned M2 50 cal. Turret on top or with a M240 Machine Gun. It can also be modified to fire a Mk-19 40mm Grenade Launcher. In case of Anti-tank fighting some of these MRAPs were fitted with a BGM-171 TOW Anti-Missile launcher for Anti-tank enemy targets. The Army even uses a LinkOshkosh M-ATV 6x6, which was designed for armored assaults and urban warfare. The 6x6 variant is capable of being armed with 120mm Mortars. LinkBAE Caiman 6x6: is a V-Hull armored MRAP, that can be used to protect soldiers from IEDs and ambush during patrols, reconnaissance missions, or any combat scenario such as urban fighting. At roughly 27,000 kg, this MRAP was able to survive most IED impacts with little to no injuries of the crew. It can transport up to 10 passengers. It was armed with manned turret on top. Some were equipped with automated turrents. There is currently 10,000 in active service with the Armedikan Army.

The Armedikan Air Corps is the aviation unit of the army. It uses a variety of aircraft, mainly rotary, to provide transport, support, and intelligence to the ground forces.

Attack Helicopters
LinkAH-64D Apache Longbow Attack Helicopter and AH-64E Guardian: is twin-engine attack helicopter. It features a nose-mounted sensor suite for target acquisition and night vision systems. It is armed with a 30 mm (1.18 in) M230 chain gun carried between the main landing gear, under the aircraft's forward fuselage, and four hardpoints mounted on stub-wing pylons for carrying armament and stores, typically a mixture of AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and Hydra 70 rocket pods. The AH-64 has significant systems redundancy to improve combat survivability. The AH-64E is a much more upgraded helicopter. AH-64E features improved digital connectivity, the Joint Tactical Information Distribution System, more powerful T700-GE-701D engines with upgraded face gear transmission to accommodate more power, capability to control unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), full IFR capability, and improved landing gear. New composite rotor blades, which successfully completed testing in 2004, increase cruise speed, climb rate, and payload capacity. Under license with the United States, Armedikan Army operates a total of 536 Aircraft.
