Alexander Weber (b. October 12, 1993) is a Kosmonaut in the North Atlantic Entente. Losing his father at the age of five, Alexander attained a position in the Luftstreitkräfte after graduating from the prestigious Institut für Luftfahrt und Luftkrieg in the city of Drestatt. Alexander showed great skill as a pilot yet was never truly noticed by his superiors and rose up the military hierarchy very slowly. However he did manage to make his name known after his jet was shot down and he survived in the mountains for six months in 2015. Yet when given the opportunity to retire and spend the rest of his life being paid by the government, he refused and asked for permission to rejoin the Luftstreitkräfte. As a reward for his willingness to continue working for the military Alexander would be promoted to the rank of Oberstleutnant and be placed in charge of his own air wing. Alexander would be chosen for the kosmonaut program in 2016 due to his excellence as a pilot and survival skills from when he was stranded in the mountains. During his kosmonaut training Alexander would end up breaking his arm causing his chances of becoming a kosmonaut to effectively be zero. However the kosmonaut program would end up being put on hold until 2019 by that time Alexander had long since recovered from his injuries and was sent back to training. On the 13th of February, 2020 Alexander would become the first North Atlantean in space without foreign assistance, and on the 18th of April of the same year, he had become the first human being to have touched the surface of Mars.

Early Life

He was born in the small town of Zierenfurt, which is located about 3km from the city of Drestatt. Alexanders early life was harsh, due to his father's death in 1998, leaving him and his mother alone at the age of 5. He would later be sent to a boarding school in Drestatt by his mother Klaudia. Early in his education Alexander did not do very well in his studies and was disliked by fellow students. However Alexander would eventually begin excelling in his studies at the age of 8 years old with the help of one of his tutors. It was after he graduated in 2011 at the age of 17 that Alexander against his mother’s wishes, would apply to the Institut für Luftfahrt und Luftkrieg in Drestatt, just as his late father did in 1980. Alexander would graduate from the institute in 2013 and immediately join the Luftstreitkräfte. Alexander would rarely interact with his comrades and had few friends in the Luftstreitkräfte. Alexander’s isolationist behavior is often attributed to the bullying he experienced as a child which made him afraid of social interaction.

Military Career

Alexander’s early career in the Luftstreitkräfte was rather uneventful. He performed his duties exceptionally well but never stood out and because of that rarely caused problems for his superiors but also rarely got promoted.

While flying his F4-F Phantom 2 jet over the Großerhügel Mountains during a reconnaissance mission looking for republican terrorist bases in 2015, his plane was hit by a SAM. However Alexander survived the crash and managed to find a safe place in the mountains. Alexander would live there for six months with no way of contacting the Luftstreitkräfte and was presumed dead. Fortunately he was rescued after smoke from his campfire was spotted by mountain climbers.

Alexander upon his return would continue to serve as Oberstleutnant despite concerns about his mental health. Alexander would be seen by his men as a mentor and as a friend, as Alexander was known to go out of his way to teach those under him everything he knew. This would sometimes disrupt his own work and put him at odds with his superiors.

Experiences in Space

Alexander has spent a decent amount of time in space. The majority of this time spent has been on the long Neptune 3 mission but he also did a lot during Meili 2. Alexander has alway been somewhat serious with his work but has always made time to answer letters and messages sent by fans. He has also made his mark on history forever by being involved in one of the most historic missions of all, the first manned mission to another planet.

Ideology

Political Views

Alexander’s political views aren’t very well known. He has refused to answer any questions about it from the press stating that, “All that matters is whether or not the government creates a word in which I’d be happy to raise a child in.”
