Resolution to Repeal Defensive Terms of the Provincial Union over North and South America

[Article I]
Upon passage of this resolution; the commitment of the Provincial Union to protect all states of North and South America shall be herein terminated and no further obligation will be held. The Provincial Union will no longer be obligated to protect American states from invasion or similar military efforts by foreign powers, nor as defined in the original doctrine; European and other Colonising Empires. If under any circumstance that an American Nation is invaded by a foreign power, whether it be from the same continent or from another and the Nation requires assistance; the Provincial Union no longer will support the Nation outside of normal diplomatic tendencies unaffected by the original legislation to Protect American Nations.

[Article II]
The reason for the proposal of this resolution has come as the United States has further alienated itself from the Provincial Union. The secondary cause of this resolution is the realisation that in the modern world, North and South America are no longer at such an overwhelming threat by foreign powers outside of their own continent and hemisphere, therefore the Provincial Union should not hold itself liable to defend states under its unnecessary protection.

[Article III]
Nations considered historical or current defensive allies of the Provincial Union shall remain under the protection of the Provincial Union unless defined below with specific terms. Nations that do not have a treaty separate to the original document of legislation to Protect American Nations will have the Defensive Alliance terminated immediately upon the passage of this Resolution. Caribbean Nations and Island Nations technically covered by the document will remain under the Protection of the Provincial Union as cited by the Guarantee over Island Nations within the Realm.

[Article IV]
This Resolution requires no enforcement as it is an instance of repealing another piece of Legislation.

Clause A
The following Nations will have Defensive Alliances terminated immediately: Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
