The Aras War was fought from 518 to 532 between the Keinerland Empire and the Gharavid Empire over the eastern Keinerland lake of Aras—a Gharavid area that defected to the Keinerlandians. Conflict erupted among tensions over tribute and the spice trade.

The Keinerlandians maintained the upper hand until 520 but the Gharavids recovered their position in battles at Dara and Mahabad while their Behzad allies defeated the Keinerland-aligned Libenus. A Keinerlandian victory at Tibris in 522 continued the war for another year until the empires signed the "Perpetual Peace".
