Random Tidbits

-Lobotomy is still a regularly practiced medical procedure in the KNT, and is officially accepted as such by the King himself. Why this is is still a mystery, but many high-profile government officials have, conveniently, been diagnosed with hysteria and put through them, as have many who speak out against the government.

-In 1999, a man purchased a boat and sailed out to sea, then returned on the exact same course he departed on, tracing each of his past movements entirely accurately. He had been dead for five hours by the time he landed at the port again. This is now known as the Ramone Incident, after the name of the boat (which was, funny enough, named after American musician Joey Ramone, who the owner of the boat was apparently a fan of, making some believe it was all an effort to get the singer to notice the man).

-The main press in the KNT is called Prasalordska, and is a state-owned newspaper known by many to be one of the most biased, factually inaccurate newspapers in the world. Prasalordska TV, its television counterpart, is similarly panned, and both have been ridiculed for their promotion of conspiracy theories. For instance, one narrative Prasalordska often pushes is that the Teutonican royal family has claim over the entirety of Russia, because Zaytseva Yakovna, a member of the family's main bloodline, was allegedly the illegitimate daughter of Tsar Nicholas II, which is a claim that has consistently been disproven.

-In Turmazna, the capital city, there is a store that sells exclusively ladles. It is called Bembenek Ladle Co. and it also has several slot machines and a small restaurant. In short, it is a tourist trap.
