The Kotilmaiseksi Partisan Movement, most commonly referred too as the Kotilmaiseksi Partisans, is a revolutionary resistance force that fights for the Freedom of the common man after the ascension of Gothgraff and Lilium in East Osea. After the usage of the AARR (Arcane Atom Reorganizer and Redistributor), a small percentage of the former Volkish Population was left unscathed and retreated underground due to the Imperial Realm's policies of Institutional racism and xenophobia. These bands of Volkish survivors rallied and took up arms against the new Government. These cells fought with small grounds of armed men and women with guerilla tactics, produced underground newspapers, and maintained communication networks with those outside the Walls of the Imperial Realm. The Kotilmaiseksi Partisans are formed from all corners of Volkish Society. From Rich to poor, Socialist to Capitalist, Elisimists to Atheists.
The Kotilmaiseksi Partisans play a small yet important role, acting as a beacon for a more Liberal and Free nation, and a memory of the past before the intrusion of the Gothilum's on Volkish Soil. The Partisans rally around a shared hatred for Gothgraff and Lilium and the Ostrogoth Monarchy, however is not anti-monarchist at its core, with many supporters being avid followers of Pre-AARR Tsaral-Socialism. The Resistance also executes coordinated acts of sabotage sabotage Imperial electrical power grids, transport facilities, and telecommunications networks.
The Force behind the Partisan Movement is both amateur and professional, being comprised of former military personnel to teachers, farmers, and your common man. The Kotilmaiseksi Partisans has a formal hierarchy and is split between branches however many people flip-flop between branches if needed. Estimated to just be over 2.5k, the small force wreaks havoc before disappearing into the wind, the Imperial Gothilum Armed Forces always one step behind.
Before the Imperial Realm reigned over the land known as Gothgraff and Lilium, the nation of Volstokn existed for the longest time. From the foundation of the many Volkish Kingdoms at the start of the last millennia (non-IY calenar), to the Creation and unification of the Tsardom in the 1800s. The nation would found its own language, culture, government, and way of life until Dark clouds grew on the horizon. In the matter of hours, everything was lost.
As the dust settled after the usage of the Arcane Atom Reorganizer and Redistributor (AARR) in Hyvärin, Volstokn, and the Gothilum State moved into the changed lands, a small percentage of the Volkish Population avoided the now nation-wide patrols that rounded up unchanged individuals. If they were caught, they would be shipped them off locales across the nation to be transformed into Gothilum Blood without choice. The Nationalist spirit of former-Volstokn was now nothing but a myth as the rug was pulled out from under them; now, it was a fight for survival against a common enemy.
Days after the Firing of the AARR, a small band of 30 unchanged Volkish individuals from Villages in the Local "Ahtisarärvi" region, (Modern-day Theodana) met in secret, forming a brotherhood of on-the-run Volkish men, women, and children, and set out as the Gothilum Secret Police and Military Patrols closed in, over time, the Brotherhood grew, hate coursing through their veins, they took to strike back at the entity that tore down their homes and livelihoods.
The Kotilmaiseksi Partisans is made up of Volkish men and women with a broad range of ages, former social classes, occupations, religions, and political affiliations between them. With the collapse of the Tsaral Realm of Volstokn, any remnant of their past lives was stripped from them, coming together with one idea, the Liberation of the Volkish Nation from Gothilum rule. Anything from Farmers, Professors, Students, Lawyers, Shopkeepers to Utility workers make up the Movement's ranks.
Just under 3000 Volkish survivors make up the Kotilmaiseksi Movement. Its headquarters are deep within the Varjukilies Mountain Range (Modern-day Rhimalarius Mountains), in the Pentillä Valley regions. One large makeshift-town and several outposts surrounding the region make up the Kotilmaiseksi Base of Operations. Several other stash/safe houses exist throughout the Theodana region for emergency use.
The Partisan Movement has its hands on various different types of light weaponry from raids on Gothilum depots and patrols within its region. Ranging from standard Gothilum marksman rifles to submachine guns, shotguns, handguns and two heavy machine guns. As well as two light helicopters that have been rendered inoperable. It also has access to basic radio technology, however sparsely used due to fear of being intercepted by the Gothilum Army or Secret Police.
