[size=137][font=Times New Romans][b]VOCRYAE:[/b] The chaos engulfing the Confederation for the last months - now being termed the [b]Third Jocospite Civil War[/b] - has come to a close with the occupation of Dubrova, [nation]Depackya[/nation] by Loyalist forces.[/size][/font]

[size=137][font=Times New Romans]Under the no-nonsense leadership of Regina Imperatina Viktoriya IX of [nation]Regna Loreau[/nation], the temporarily appointed Despot of the Confederation, the Confederation Defense Force marched on the failed Traditionalists' capital. Dubrova is now a smoking ruin. Key dissenters have been arrested. The dastardly Mykhail Borisov managed to flee apprehension, but his cowardly party is pursued by Imperial forces. There will be no resurrection for the Traditionalists.[/size][/font]

[size=137][font=Times New Romans]Speaking in Dubrova, His Supreme Majesty made an unexpected appearance to a Loyalist crowd of hundreds of thousands:[/size][/font]

[size=137][font=Times New Romans]"The remaining Traditionalists, now insignificant, disorderly and on the retreat, will be hunted down and defeated."[/size][/font]

[size=137][font=Times New Romans]The Third Jocospite Civil War began when Borisov couped the legitimate government of [nation]Depackya[/nation]. The Mouth and Will of the Confederation, Sir Aleksandr Ivanov HCF HCIL KOSH, was exiled to Vocryae with his supporters and administrated the Confederation from the Imperial Palace. The new Borisovian Regime in [nation]Depackya[/nation], along with a smattering of traitorous allies including [nation]West Heisen[/nation], then engaged in a covert operation in Vocryae, storming the [nation]Imperial Senate Building[/nation], [nation]The Confedereichstag[/nation] II and other key assets. This unprovoked and aggressive action spilled blood, and was considered by the Confederation a formal declaration of war against legitimate Imperial authorities. During the Traditionalist violation of the Imperial Senate, many lost their lives, including The Hon. Viktor McRain of [nation]The Yeetusa[/nation], 5th President of the Imperial Senate.[/size][/font]

[size=137][font=Times New Romans]In response to the unfolding crisis, the once-Shadow Emperor revealed himself to His Confederation as His Supreme Majesty Augistín I. The Confederation was shocked to its core, and fear was struck in the hearts of the Traditionalists. His Supreme Majesty provided an ultimatum to them, which they rejected. Thus, Imperial Loyalists mobilized to liberate Vocryae, the Shadow Cult and the Confederation.[/size][/font]

[size=137][font=Times New Romans]Initially, Loyalist efforts were under the direction of the Department of Defence. However, the Imperial Council identified the shortcomings Secretary The Hon. Konstantin Molotov of [nation]Russian States of Eurasia[/nation]. Secretary Molotov, clearly affected by the death of President McRain, failed to take decisive action and allowed the Traditionilists to briefly gain an upper hand. In response, the Imperial Council temporarily dissolved the Imperial Senate and created the Despot of the Confederation.[/size][/font]

[size=137][font=Times New Romans]With joint efforts by key Loyalist nations, including [nation]Regna Loreau[/nation] and [nation]MineLegotipony[/nation], and the Confederation Defense Force now in competent hands, the Traditionalists were driven back. Vocryae was declared liberated on the evening of 1 April 2021, and the war declared over by the Despot on 3 May 2021.[/font][/size]

[size=137][font=Times New Romans]Rebuilding efforts have begun across the Shadow Cult, none more grand than in Vocryae. Reconstruction of the [nation]Imperial Senate Building[/nation] has exceeded Confederation expectations, and senators have begun returning to the hallowed legislative house.[/size][/font]

[size=137][font=Times New Romans]The Lady Overseer of the Ministry of the Senate, Dame Anastascia Clarke HCF HCIL of [nation]HMS NHS[/nation], has called an election for 14 May 2021. Delegate registration has now closed. Notable changes to the status quo include the demotion of the Nationalist Authoritarian Party, which is now considered a minor party.[/size][/font]

[size=137][font=Times New Romans]This election is expected to be tight, and garner much regional and inter-regional attention. [i]CSB Votes![/i] expects to cover the hustings as it has in the past.[/size][/font]

[size=137][font=Times New Romans]An Imperial betting agency, Tossing at Tosselton, has put decent odds on the Imperial Prosperity Party, which seems set to continue its domination of the Imperial Senate.
