The WA Office is not categorically opposed to a commendation of the nation in question, but we feel that this proposal does not sufficiently make the case for it. While the 2017 Lazarus Civil War was an important historical event, the long-winded explanation of it, including the description of events Imkiville was not involved in, is out of place in a Security Council resolution. Furthermore, while the target played a crucial role in ending the Lazarus Civil War, the Office is not convinced by the resolution’s argument that Imkiville's role and subsequent actions in Lazarus alone are enough to justify a commendation. The proposal does include an unspecific line about the South Pacific, but it hardly adds to the content of the proposal.

Taking into account internal discourse and a vote on the regional position towards the relevant resolution, the Rejected Realms WA Office recommends a vote AGAINST "Commend Imkiville".
