The Employment contract

All nations within the Free Economic Zone of Desertiania are to comply with the terms of this legal document or face punishment.

Article 1: Nation classification and ownership
1. All nations that exist within the Free Economic Zone of Desertiania are to be referred to as the employee nation's. These nations work to further the vision of The Founder of the Free Economic Zone and leader of the Dominion of Desertiania, Mr. Mackie. These nations manage the running of their nation and own all property within it. Employee nations are to do nothing to prevent their own staff and citizens from using the establishments provided here. Desertianian military personnel are not permitted within other nations unless invited by the Leader of that nation.
2. Foreign nations with formal ties to the Free Economic Zone are to be referred to as such and exist to boost the economy. These nations are allowed one embassy each within out borders and are to do nothing to stop any military personnel or citizens from entering our establishments. Military personnel are allowed to be stationed within our borders but are limited to two major military bases and 5 outpost type bases.

Article 2: Power and Supply distribution
1. All employee nations shall be provided a suitable amount of power to keep the lights on from Desertiania's various power plants and dams whether they be nuclear or solar powered. All other power is to be created by the employee nation itself. 5% of power from a chosen source is to be sent to Desertiania at all times. Food and drink is to be cultivated or imported. It matters little.
2. Foreign nations have no responsibility in this article. To request to import supplies send a telegram to the Desertianian leader Mr. Mackie.

Article 3: Economics
1. The main industries of the Free Economic Zone are Gambling and Tourism. These are to be prioritized by employee nations over other industries. At the end of the week 50% of profits go to Mr. Mackie. Alcohol is only allowed to be sold in casinos and Gambling establishments approved of by the Franchisee agreement. Independent merchants wishing to open a business or sell non-alcoholic food and drink within Free Economic Zone borders also must be approved of by the Franchisee agreement. Economy is to be prioritized over environment.

Article 4: Military and weapon laws
1. All Desertianian military staff are Robotic so as to prevent loss of life or bred from VATS specifically for military operations. These staff are not permitted in employee nations without invitation from that nations leader. An detachment of these military personnel is available to all employee nations upon request to protect major cities. Employee nations are allowed to run their on military but not in Desertiania or foreign nations.
2. Any object designed to be a Weapon is not permitted in business grounds. These objects are to be confiscated upon entry and stored in a secure location. Should the weapons go missing the business must provide the client with suitable compensation in return. Business staff are allowed to carry weapons while on their business grounds and are to only use them in the case that a client is going to harm another client or staff member.

Article 5: Government and goals
1. The Free Economic Zone is a Liberal Autocracy. Mr. Mackie cares not for what you do in your spare time so long as it furthers his vision. Mr. Mackie holds the power of the Free Economic Zone and uses it wisely from the safety of his tower. The goal and vision itself is to create a Utopian paradise fueled by a powerhouse economy defined by science and order. Opposition to these goals is to oppose the Free Economic Zone itself and will result in suitable punishment. All laws within whatever nation you are in are to be followed.

Article 6: Social issues
1. Mr. Mackie cares not for your Race, sex, sexual preference or religion. So long as you contribute to the dream of a better tomorrow you are welcome here.

Article 7: Legal articles
1. Mr. Mackie has the right to edit and create new laws as he sees fit.
2. All residents of the region must vote for Mr. Mackie in democratic elections held. All who plot to overthrow his rule will face expulsion. Those identified as a threat will be expelled.
