Vote Recommendation: For
This resolution seeks to commemorate the annual "N-Day" event on NationStates from the perspective of the World Assembly. The author points out the critical details about the event, such as its regular recurrences, the lack of after effects from the massive amount of fallout generated from nuclear salvos, and the positive diplomatic relationships that can be built around the various factions. This resolution also expresses its concern that nations might grow too trigger happy and inadvertently destroy the World Assembly's headquarters, urging them strongly to not do that.
This is a declaration we can fully get behind. It embraces a well-known and well-loved aspect of this game in such a way that it is easy to understand why this minigame is to be addressed so early in the lifetime of the Declaration category. Additionally, the limits addressed by this declaration are such that they also very clearly embrace the particular aspects of the game that make it great--even if there is tongue-in-cheek alarm at certain aspects of it. A fine and outstanding example of a Declaration that isn't explicitly about Gameplay. For the above reasons, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs recommends a vote For the Security Council Resolution at vote, "Statement on the Nuclear Apocalypse".
