ACT OF IMPERIAL SUPREMACY
In order to ensure continued security, prosperity and happiness within our Consulate, the People of Doundaly have decided that our nation requires an Emperor. We decree as such:
Article I
The Consulate of Doundaly is reformed as the First Doundalian Empire. Ministries and the Armed Forces will remain unaffected by these changes.
Article II
The Emperor of Doundaly is the head of Government of the First Doundalian Empire.
Article III
First Consul Nolen Plantage is Emperor of Doundaly.
Article IV
The successor to the Emperor of Doundaly after his death will always be the eldest living son. If the emperor has no living son, it shall be the eldest living daughter. If the Emperor has no living children, it shall be the eldest living grandson. If the Emperor has no living grandsons, it shall be the eldest living granddaughter. If the Emperor then has no living granddaughters, a council shall be formed of all the ministers and Marshals of the Empire within 20 days of the Emperor's death. They shall elect a successor within the Emperor's family. The minimum percentage required to elect a successor shall be 51%. Upon formation of the council, a successor must be elected within 10 days.
