Military

The Verronde military is split into squads, of 50 men and sometimes a battlemage, companies, of 4 squads and an extra battlemage, regiments, of 4 companies and 5 extra battlemages, fief units, of 4 regiments, artillery, and an extra 10 battlemages, divisions, which can vary from 2-6 fief units, artillery, and 10-1 extra battlemages, and the army, which consists of all the divisions and 50 extra battlemages and artillery. The odd men out, including artillery and battlemages, make up the reserves. A sergeant leads a squad, a sergeant major leads a company, a major leads a regiment, a fief commander leads a fief unit, a general leads a division, and the king leads the army. Women are allowed to and are common in the military.
