There are Six sports sponsored by the government they are American football, world football, baseball, shooting sports, canoeing, and esports.
All sports are structured by first location(zoning is determined by local athletic populations and demographics), second age, third weight class, and fourth skill in the game. All sports are Co-ed with a focus on equality through pure meritocracy. For those who make it into one of the 4 professional leagues featherweight, light weight, middle weight and heavy weight. They become local celebrities due to the prominence of sports in local news. Each professional league match is played on both the sports tv channel “PPS” and all are streamed on the government video hosting service “the people’s billboard”. There are several controversies relating to esports and how it is structured like any other sport. Leading to unequal distribution of esports athletes in specific size categories, and accusations of ageism in the elderly division.
