The ASFWL (Atlanktrop’s Stupid Football World League) and the ASFWQL (Atlanktrop’s Stupid Football World Qualifying League) describe two interlocked football leagues hosted by Atlanktrop. The first of these leagues was hosted in June 2023, with just the ASFWL existing, however Atlanktrop changed this after Round 1 of the League to add the ASFWQL, to allow other nations the chance to get into the main league as well, along with nations that had been relegated to work back up to the top.

The idea for the ASFWL came like most ideas to Atlanktrop, a random thought which turned into an actual league.

For a nation to join the leagues, they first must apply by tg’ing Atlanktrop saying they wish to join. If they are accepted, they will be put into the ASFWQL in the next season, a new season starts at the beginning of each month, and lasts for 30 days.

For a team to be promoted from the ASFWQL to the ASFWL, nicknamed ‘Entering the Big Boi Zone’ , a nation must finish in the top 4 of the league. They will then be promoted to the main league when the next season begins. Same for relegation , the bottom 4 teams in the ASFWL are relegated to the ASFWQL, where they must fight their way back up to the ‘Big Boi Zone’.

For June 2023, 16 teams were in the ASFWL, which was set as the standard from that point on, meanwhile 10 teams were in the ASFWQL, which was set as the minimum team number for the league to function.
