Perhaps the easiest flag to make here because I already had the original file and only had to change a star and a colour. Insulamia also has those kinds of trees, so I kept that unchanged.

Alinek

Perhaps the flag that most resembles the original Insulamian flag. Alternatively the Flag of Insulamia if I pissed on the edges.

I discovered that the cross on your flag is slightly thinner than that of the Saar Protectorate (at least on Wikipedia). Why???!

I eventually found the source of the little inner pattern thingy. I then accidentally stumbled across the source of the wreath of wheat (1948 Romanian emblem?!) whilst looking for the source of Cerespasia's wreath, but it was so distorted and modified that I gave up trying to recreate it in SVG and just used an Aurian violet wreath instead.

I couldn't find the flag of Ye Olde Buhers so this is based on a very vague recollection. Here's a recreation of what that recollection looks like:

Cataleenia

The Big Dipper in two orientations, with the Insulamian crown. I found the original flag here and based it off that.

Cerespasia

The arms of communist Hungary, the Colombian town of Chalán, and Portugal fit surprisingly well with each other. The emblem goes hard af. Also, is there a lore reason why the side-flags on your emblem have the flag upside-down?

The Star of the North on some coloured stripes. Simple as.

Cierrida

The hammer, sickle, and rifle was replaced with a mace & torch (representing the British and the Aurians) and an olive branch representing peace between them.

Continental Free States

This was perhaps the largest file of the lot, due to the fully-detailed coat of arms. And it is also due to the size of the arms that I didn't make another one for Doechland.

East Plate

Four provinces, four stripes. The British assert their full control of the island after kicking out the Spanish French.

What really bothered me when making this was that the small triangle is has some slightly different angles to the bigger triangle. But when I tried 'fixing' it, it looked too different to the original so I kept it.

No idea what the left blue part symbolises, so I went a completely different direction. I made the "tricolour" part the flag of Auria and the "blue" part the Union Jack, kind of similarly representing the original independent state and the colonial power respectively.

Also I have no idea what the aspect ratio of the flag was supposed to be so I made it 1:1.91176473. There was some calculation behind that but I've forgotten it now (💀)

The hammer & wheat has been replaced with the mace & torch; while this doesn't keep the exact symbolism, it still represents two groups of people (I assume the wheat is agricultural workers and the hammer is industrial workers?) and looks cool. Wings (?) have been replaced with reindeer antlers.

How tf did you find the banner of arms of Westmeerbeek??? Google reverse image search yielded nothing, and even after I found the city name, Google still provided no flags. I was almost sure it was an OC design until I tried motherfuсkin' Bing image search, which somehow found a match. Bruh.

Anyways, I've made one version with St Michael and two more with Cabotia. I switched the colours for no particular reason lol. I didn't really know what the significance of 9 stripes was, so I kept it the same.

Hanoverian Great Britain

You may have gotten it somewhere else but I got a matching circle thingy from the flag of the Lieutenant Governor of Jersey. The red cross represents Henria, the yellow cross plus the violet background represents Auria, the blue saltire fimbriated white represents Septentria, and the rest of the background's blue represents Nuran.

Hiyoko

Perhaps the second-most effortful flag here. Lady Cabotia rests in the centre of frame; the Star is behind her, and the edges have some kind of Inuit textile pattern.

Kuroluce

Perhaps the flag I spent the most effort on. I traced over the OG flag but made some modifications. Hilda is now Britannia, representing, well, Britain; and Lissy is now Liberty, representing Aurian revolutionary ideals. They're (Britannia and Liberty, not Hilda and Lissy :p) also featured on the coat of arms of Insulamia.

This is here alphabetically because I treat it as Laguzrauth + reindeer :)

And this is here alphabetically because I treat it as Lechia. I'm pretty sure "Glory to Lechia" is what is meant by the writing on the flag? Also, before any French nerds 'correct' me - no, we don't put articles before countries' names in Insulamian French (the best French).

Couldn't find the olive (?) wreath because there are just so many like them online, so I went with the ol' ring of violets.

Norse Inuit Union

I've kept the Inuksuk because Insulamia also has Inuit folk. I've replaced the ravens with flowers that also represent Europeans - clockwise from the top left: French lily, English rose, Scottish thistle, Irish shamrock (these assets were conveniently stolen from the flag of Montréal).

I've kept the number of stars the same (7) because I couldn't find anything about your flag's symbolism in your factbooks so I based it off Tajikistan's emblem, which states that the number of stars is based on a divine/perfect number. Also don't know what the three circles below the crown were supposed to represent, so I just removed them lmao

New San Andreas Republic

Not sure what 13 stars are supposed to represent, but I put 4 to represent the 4 provinces of Insulamia. Also couldn't find the specific branches that you used so I put a wreath of Aurian violets.

I've gone for a slightly adjusted colour symbolism here: the red represents the Brits, the violet/blue represents the Aurians and natives/the French, and the white represents peace between them.

Are you even active anymore? Anyways, I couldn't find the arrows so I made my own (which look a whole lot less surreal). I have no idea why the Big Dipper is on the flag considering Patagonia's south of the Equator, but I flipped that around and put a Southern Cross instead, since Insulamia's in the Northern Hemisphere.

Two founding provinces = two stripes. Red for Britain/Henria, gold for Auria. The canton features a reindeer head (which I thought fit better than a full reindeer), and four stars, because I thought just two would look a little too goofy.
