The Cheese War is a conflict over cheese, which started because of a cheese export dispute between Merethin and Wisteria and Surrounding Territories.

Because of a collective hatred of cheese in the nation of Merethin, we stopped importing cheese from Wisteria and Surrounding Territories. This hurt their economy pretty badly, which then escalated into a series of diplomatic accidents, after which a few other nations joined the conflict.

You should also tell us what part of the map you want to claim. Japtilas is in charge of the map, so please TG them or mention them on the RMB when requesting a part of the map.

Please give us specific regions when requesting a spot on the map. You can use this website to check which regions you would like to claim.

You don't have to leave your original region to participate in the cheese war, in fact it is heavily recommended that your main nation stays in its original region, unless you don't really care about your original region. If you want to move a puppet here, telegram any of The Cheese War's officers for the regional password, specifying your main nation (which should have joined the war beforehand).

However, to post and interact on The Cheese War's RMB, your original region will need an embassy with us. If this is already the case, then you're all set!
If that's not the case, send a telegram to Cheesy diplomatic incidents and we will request an embassy with your region. (If you do not get a reply after two days, I might be on vacation, so resend the telegram to either Wisteria and Surrounding Territories, Japtilas or Just let me grill).
If the request is accepted, the embassy will take around 3 days to complete, after which you can start posting on our RMB.

The idea is to have this as a region where all nations participating can meet together and discuss, even while being inside different regions. We are already constructing embassies with MHBs New Earth, and we have asked Nordic Lands for an embassy as well.

This way we won't have to flood the RMB with cheesy discussion :)
