The Imperial Truth is the name given to the atheist, rationalist, and materialist ideology currently promulgated by the Sacred Reich during the Unification Wars.
It is an ideology defined by the core values of reason, respect for the methodology of science, and secular progress. It is intended to replace the older traditions of religion, superstition, and faith that have long defined civilization.

At its heart, the Imperial Truth holds that the universe is rational, that knowledge defeats fear, and brings freedom from the terrors of Old Night. With this assertion goes the denial of the irrational, the superstitious, and faith in powers and principles beyond the knowable.
