The Grand Alliance recognizes the conflict between the Region of The United Democratic States and the nation of New Muko, a citizen-state of the Abandoned Branch. Within this, New Muko has been banned from the United Democratic States Regional Message Board, but has NOT been banned from other Grand Alliance member-regions depending on the outcome of the Abandoned Branch's "Ban new muko?" poll that started 12/7/24.

Based upon the conflict, regions may conclude their availability for New Muko to join their region if the poll in the Abandoned Branch ends in a "ban New Muko" finish.

- The United Democratic States

Status: Disallow

Reasoning: New Muko's past role as a hacker, deceiver, and an ignorant nation has led to the citizen-states of the UDS to form a sort of hatred towards the country. Following the November WA Delegate Elections, Petriland came into power, removing the former delegate the Nantucket Island Republic from the seat. Petriland and the governor-state of the UDS, Asucion, allowed New Muko to speak on the UDS RMB again. In response to this, many nations were angry and felt some sort of betrayal for the government allowing a nation like New Muko to speak again. Due to this, the UDS Department of Defense banned New Muko once more, leading to a poll in the Abandoned Branch to either keep or ban New Muko. A yes on this will lead to New Muko's complete ban from the Grand Alliance.

- The Abandoned Branch

Status: Allow

Reasoning: Although the Abandoned Branch recognizes the things New Muko has done to the United Democratic States, they believe that as New Muko has done nothing to the Abandoned Branch, they should be able to stay. The Abandoned Branch established a regional jury system and created a poll (open to both the UDS and the Abandoned Branch) to determine if New Muko should be banned or not. The WA Delegate of the Abandoned Branch, Beeducalm, along with the UDS nations of the Arsens, Petriland, and FREE COMINTERN REPUBLICS, all expressed their support for New Muko and they believe against the UDS majority. Even with this, the Abandoned Branch is flexible and is opened to both.

- the White Mountains

Status: Allow

Reasoning: Even when the White Mountains is a small region, it can have a large impact. On 12/8/24, the governor of the White Mountains, Colonial Granite State, contacted the UDS governor-state asking for permission to send a telegram to the Abandoned Branch expressing the White Mountain's ideas for the New Muko conflict. With a UDS approval, the White Mountains sent a telegram stating that if New Muko is not banned but the Abandoned Branch does not want to carry the guilt of having a hacker in their region, then New Muko can be sent to the White Mountains. Whilst New Muko is in the White Mountains, they will still be able to contact the Abandoned Branch, NATO 2022, and Arakeia via embassies. Colonial Granite State has expressed that they do not support New Muko, but will allow them into the White Mountains for extra protection of the larger regions (meaning the Abandoned Branch and the United Democratic States)

POLL OUTCOME: Yes to Ban New Muko (Abandoned Branch Poll) | However, even with New Muko being voted out by the community and two Abandoned Branch regional jury, the Abandoned Branch WA Delegate allowed New Muko to return into the region and not be banned.

The Grand Alliance recognizes the NATO 2022 Conflict as a serious time in Grand Alliance history, that has not yet been completely solved. Near the beginning of January, 2025, the UDS' Department of Roleplay Overview (The Arsens) notified the Department of Foreign Affairs (The district of salt lake city) about the Grand Alliance and the UDS' relations with the region of NATO 2022, an original Grand Alliance member. The Arsens explained how NATO 2022 had been put on a "problematic regions" list created by the nation of Impc documentary database, which had and has been used by multiple regions. Due to this, multiple regions noted NATO 2022 as problematic, and wanted to stray away from embassies. The Arsens worried that if the UDS and the Grand Alliance were to keep NATO 2022 as a close ally, it would cause the UDS' influence to go down as well. Due to this, SLC telegrammed NATO 2022 governor Azov steel 2022 and asked for them to further explain the situation, or else NATO 2022 would sadly have to be removed from the Grand Alliance.

IMPC & THE PROBLEMATIC REGIONS LIST: IMPC added NATO 2022 to the Problematic Regions List due to Azov steel 2022's support for a Ukrainian Neo-Nazi named Stepan Bandera, who was born in Austria-Hungary and died in West Germany. Bandera worked for the far-right nationalist party of Ukraine. Due to this conflict and due to the list, many regions denied NATO 2022, and ultimately led to NATO 2022's influential downfall until the Grand Alliance.

NATO 2022: Governor Azov steel 2022 of NATO 2022 insists that they had no idea that Bandera was a Neo-Nazi, nor did they know it would be controversial. Instead, Azov said that they and their other classmates were taught that Bandera was a hero of Ukraine. Despite NATO 2022 believing that it was simply a misunderstanding, Azov made a formal apology to the international community of not just NATO 2022, but the entirety of NationStates, hoping that they would be taken off of the Problematic Regions List.

Soon after, Azov steel 2022 telegrammed SLC back, saying that it was a large misunderstanding, and that IMPC had no care in the world for NATO 2022. Due to this, SLC and the Arsens further investigated the issue with Azov steel 2022, which was determined to bring justice to NATO 2022. Furthermore, Azov stated that NATO 2022 was actually blackmailed by IMPC (the list makers), and was forced to either give up some power in their region, or be put on the list forever. Due to this, the entire UDS sided with NATO 2022, realizing their struggles. SLC and the Department of Foreign Affairs, just now finding out about IMPC's greedy and unjust doings, was ready to assist NATO 2022 and spread the word of how problematic the Problematic Regions List is. To follow, the Problematic Regions List hasn't been updated in around a year, and many regions have been forgiven, but still stand on that list, such as NATO 2022. SLC soon telegrammed IMPC, stating that the UDS stands with NATO 222 and would do what they could to bring attention to this situation.

With the Arsens having close relations to the region of Aspen, SLC telegrammed Great Xanarcica Empire, the Aurelia (governor) of Aspen. Aspen has had the Problematic Regions List within their embassy policies for a while, possibly not knowing that it is raider causing and misinformational. SLC telegrammed Great Xanarcica Empire hoping for them to take it down, now knowing that the list is unjust, but instead, Aspen chose to keep it up. Aspen had already denied multiple embassy requests with the UDS for having "problematic embassies", which the problematic embassy in question was NATO 2022, which has now been proven to not be as problematic as IMPC states. To this day, Aspen continues to keep the list up, further ruining UDS-Aspen relations.

Now, the UDS and NATO 2022 share very close relations, both with a common enemy of IMPC. The UDS continues to want to spread news of IMPC's horrible blackmailing, and will continue to do so.
