Fall of Covenant Shores

Covenant Shores was a large Christian region with about 100 WA Delegate endorsements, founded by Ajakor.

On 26 December 2024, Ajakor abdicated the role of Governor to Saint Asperes. On 28 December, Saint Asperes began ejecting many nations and closing embassies and reached out to several key Delegates will the following message:

I hope you're doing well,

I wanted to inform you that I am in the process of dissolving Covenant Shores. I've discovered that there are over 30 nations involved, with 10 of them being self proclaimed Nazis, while the others are planning some sort of LGBTQ campaign. The way they are framing: has shocked me to my core , this all became news to me as soon as I took the office of Governor: I'm requesting the aid of your Military --- take control of this region and to keep off guards to anyone (I’m really struggling with the reality that I’m in charge of a region that’s deeply entrenched in extremism and corruption. It’s overwhelming to think about how bad things are here. You might think that I could just ban these extremist groups and make everything better, but it’s not that simple. As I try to address the situation, I’m discovering that more and more countries are involved in this mess. I really need assistance to tackle this issue effectively.)

When nations are ejected, they do not necessarily lose their endorsements. So, noticing that a lot of cross-endorsed nations were being ejected, I (Rhaza) contacted the other delegates of the Sinker regions to notify them that Covenant Shores was collapsing and we would get an influx of potentially unfriendly nations with too many endorsements.

Then, I reached out to Saint Asperes, and offered to show him how to dissolve the region and complete it for him. He agreed on two conditions: one, that I lock the region once it was dissolved, and two, that I write this dispatch explaining his side of the story.

From his perspective, Covenant Shores was plagued from the start, and he left the Discord "out of disgust" with some content there.
